RPG Client & Coach Expectations

Expectations of RPG Athletes:

1. Payment

Athletes are required to make payments through auto debit via their bank account, PayPal, Stripe, or any other automatic banking method. This helps minimise administrative tasks, allowing us to focus on delivering high-quality coaching.Payments are to be made for future coaching services, not for services already rendered.

2. Notice Period for Breaks or Termination

Athletes must provide 4 weeks' notice before taking a break or terminating coaching services. This allows time for coaches to adjust or fill the spot from the RPG client waitlist. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious injury), at the discretion of the coach, this notice period may be waived. If the required notice is not given, the athlete agrees to pay for the remaining month to provide the coach with adequate time to fill their spot.

3. Coach-Athlete Ratio and Waitlist

RPG coaches limit the number of athletes they work with to maintain a high level of personalisation and care.If an athlete goes on a break, their spot may be filled from the waitlist to sustain coaching income. When an athlete is ready to return from a break, they should provide as much notice as possible. If no spots are available, they will be placed at the top of the waitlist, ahead of any new inquiries.

4. Disclosure of Coaching Business

Athletes are required to disclose if they have an existing coaching business before they sign up with RPG. Additionally, if an athlete starts a coaching business while onboard with RPG, they must inform RPG of this change. Failure to disclose this information will result in the discontinuation of coaching services with RPG. However, if the athlete provides full disclosure, RPG may consider continuing the coaching relationship on a case-by-case basis, assessing the individual circumstances involved.

Expectations of RPG Coaches:

1. Communication

Coaches are available for regular contact via Circle, WhatsApp, and email. They will respond to messages within the timeframe agreed upon in their chosen coaching package - Gold, Silver, Bronze, outlined HERE. These timeframe are excluding weekends and times when they are supporting athletes at races or training camps.Coaches will monitor key training sessions and provide feedback where appropriate, particularly through comments in Training Peaks.Coaches will make themselves available for the agreed number of phone calls per week/fortnight/month.

2. Business Hours

Regular contact with athletes is expected within business hours. Any communication outside these hours is not mandatory, although some coaches may offer additional availability at their discretion. In cases where a coach is unavailable during business hours due to non-RPG-related work or activities, they may offer support outside normal hours to compensate.

3. Race and Event Support
During weekends or weeks when coaches are traveling to support athletes at races or training camps, response times may be delayed, and regular communication may be reduced to allow coaches to focus on supporting the participating athletes.

4. Professionalism

Coaches are expected to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with athletes at all times.Coaches will respect an athlete's decision to end coaching services and will be open to receiving feedback in a constructive manner.

These terms aim to create a productive and respectful environment for both athletes and coaches, ensuring that all parties receive the highest quality support and service.
